Noa Epars is a filmmaker, editor and artist based in Lausanne, Switzerland. After earning a bachelor’s degree in French literature and history from the University of Lausanne, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in cinema at HEAD – Geneva in 2024, specializing in editing. His work moves between documentary and experimental cinema. His films have been screened at international festivals such as New Directors/New Films in New York, Locarno Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival and Cinéma du Réel.

Since 2024, he presented several installations in Switzerland. He directed music videos and served on the jury of the Lausanne Underground Film Festival (LUFF) 2024. He’s film programmer for Festival de Sévelin.

In 2025, his film Always Wanted To Be God, Never Wanted to do Good won the Best Swiss Film Award at the 29th Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur.
